Nest360º was an event for members of the Nisga’a community who want to learn more and share ideas about marine and pipeline safety, and LNG-related employment and training opportunities.
It took place at the Best Western Plus Terrace Inn on Monday, February 23 (12:00-7:30 PM) and Tuesday, February 24, 2015 (9:00 AM- 4:30 PM).

Nisga’a Employment, Skills and Training (NEST) is a resource that connects Nisga’a citizens with the training needed to find meaningful employment in demand-driven industries. NEST Employment Advisors work to connect job seekers with employment readiness (including resume-writing) and skills training (including certification upgrades), and to connect job-ready Nisga’a citizens with prospective employers.
NEST currently serves the communities of: Gitlaxt’aamiks, Gitwinksihlkw, Laxgalts’ap, & Gingolx; Terrace, Kitimat, Prince Rupert, & Port Edward. Our employment advisory services extend to Nisga’a citizens, employers that employ Nisga’a citizens, and other Nisga’a organizations.
Currently, we have partnerships with training providers, educational institutions, and major or regional employers; we nurture these partnerships as part of our comprehensive approach to supporting Nisga’a citizens. To learn more about our service offerings, please go here or to contact us:
